56. The Faith of Winter

-

When the faith does leave
Me to blue spaces,
My only comforts are Nature’s leaves.
All those faces help me none
To pass the lonely time.
No other love, no other fun,
Nothing else to make me rhyme.
Still I seek with in
For which is mine?

A fretted clef,
Harmonic chime?
The only song that comes to mind is the She left behind.
Help me now, for I am lost;
Come, come cheer me winter frost.

Blind Faith, reasons deliverance,
The love of brotherhood
Illuminates the soul
As a harvest moon illuminates green pastures.

Men heard to superstition because they
Cannot know God’s infinite entangle.,
Believing superstition the only unknown realm of
His kingdom, they take for his will,
Yet find it right to question ethical conceptions.

Oneness is all the shepherd asks,
Love is that is man’s task.
The individual need no fast.

Drink deep of life’s feast;
Have only what you would receive
And never from Nature leave.

Love thou neighbor’s tree;
Sing to the water’s breeze;
Know that as one we
Can stop this fighting and see.
